Join us for a day of riding horses on the Shoshone National Forest, complete with a cookout lunch, or take a ride into the backcountry for fishing. Available late May through June only.
Directions to the Elk Fork Trailhead
Our trailhead is located at the back of the Elk Fork Campground, about 30 miles west of Cody.
If you set your odometer at the Red Barn Store in Wapiti, continue west on US-14 (US-16/US-20) toward Yellowstone National Park for 7.2 miles, and look for a left-hand turn at the Elk Fork Campground on the south side of the highway.
Pass by all the camper spots and the big parking lot and continue down the dirt road where there is a sign saying "No Trailers Past This Point." We will be just ahead.
