Wilderness Horseback Pack Trips

Experience the back country on a horse-powered camping trip

Pack trips begin at a trailhead in the Shoshone National Forest where we will pack all the gear, food and personal items needed for the trip on horses and mules.  We will fit you to a saddle on a horse or mules appropriate for your ability and provide you with a sack lunch and a water bottle for the ride to camp.

An average of 3-4 hours riding on day one is to be expected.  We recommend a minimum of 4 days to ensure that you are able to fully experience all that a pack trip has to offer but shorter trips can be arranged.

Pack trip activities include day rides, hiking, fishing, photography, and just enjoying camp life.  We will fix three meals a day for you and provide tent shelter, cots and sleeping pads.

We do not supply fishing gear but we are happy to provide help and instruction.

We look forward to helping you plan the vacation of a lifetime on one of our wilderness horseback pack trips!
